The McDermott Team I want to Thank you for keeping our family in your thoughts throughout the past year, since my Dad's passing. The Christmas Angel was sent to my sister in California, it hung on her tree this year and will for many years to come. Laurie you made a very hard time as easy as it could be in a time like this. We truely want to Thank you!
Dear Tim I wanted to say Thank you! again for aking such good care of us while we were in Pittsburgh for my sisters funeral. Lucille looked so very peaceful and pretty. I am really so glad McDermott's dressed her. Everything went just the way she wanted and her family felt the same way.
Tim & Staff Thank you for your kind words and deeds on the death of our beloved Margaret.
Dear Tim & Staff of McDermott Funeral Home,
My family and I are most appreciative of the services provided by you and your fine team at McDermott Funeral Home in the McKees Rooks location. Your kindness and consideration during the initial consultation, and your fulfillment of all my requests were a tribute to your business. I'm so glad you remembered my uncle during the early years when he made pre-arrangements with McDermott in late 1996, and then for the funeral and burial services for my Aunt Mary in February, 1999. I have some historic documents signed by R. Dennis Hughes, and even correspondence from you still in his old files. I was with my uncle at both the visitation and services for my Aunt Mary in 1999, and probably met you then, but alas, memory fails me from that emotional time over 15 years ago. I remember it was a cold, cold February day in the cemetery. It is comforting to know the "next generation" can follow through with another exceptional group carrying on the McDermott name. I recognize my "Uncle Gerry" was spot on when he chose McDermott to manage his pre-needs. Thank you! Please also express my personal thanks again to Ms. Laurie R. Lauck, Funeral Director, for her fine assistance throughout the services, both at the funeral home and St. Mark Cemetery. It was especially helpful for my husband and me to have her company and companionship while driving to the cemetery. The simple services with Fr. John E. Hissrich officiating, were just as Uncle Gerry would have wanted. This was especially fitting for our small group. The representatives from St. Malachy Catholic Church who came by to pay respects during the visitation were also much appreciated. Thank you for guiding my family through this emotional time, but ,also for your understanding of the celebration we all shared to honor my Uncle Gerry's long life, well lived for 100 years. He was a good man.
We are always interested in hearing from the families that we serve. Please take a moment to let us know how well we served you in your time of need. We very much appreciate your feedback.
