Paula A. Kenny Taylor
Paula Anne Kenny Taylor, age 57, of Ambridge, passed away on August 2, 2020. She was raised in Youngstown, New York, a 1981 graduate of Lewiston Porter High School and attended Niagara County Community College. Soon after relocating to Coraopolis in 1994, she met her husband, James Taylor, while employed at Robert Morris College. Jim and Paula were married in 1996, and were blessed with two children, Brendan and Molly, who were the true loves of her life.
She was fortunate to be able to share her compassion for others in the workplace, whether it be through giving care to nursing home patients, infants at Carol Leone Daycare, or attending to daily routines of adults with disabilities at the Verland Foundation group homes. She enriched others with her warm heart, kindness and sense of humor. She found contentment in simplicity, and in being surrounded by her family and pets. She will be dearly missed.
Paula is survived by her loving husband Jim, and son, Brendan Taylor of Ambridge; a daughter, Molly Taylor Ford and son-in-law Alex Ford. She was the beloved daughter of the late Frank and Elspeth (Ella) Kenny; sister of Janet Kenny-Smith (Donald) of Sewickley, and Donna Kenny (David Nguyen) of Niagara Falls, NY. She was predeceased by her brother, Wayne Kenny. Paula is also survived by several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Max.
A private, outdoor Witness to the Resurrection service in Paula’s memory was officiated by the Reverend Dr. Donna Giver-Johnston on August 8, 2020 at the Community Presbyterian Church of Ben Avon. As an expression of remembrance of Paula and her love of animals, memorial donations may be made to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Road, Aliquippa, PA 15001. https://beavercountyhumanesociety.org/donate
