Steve Dobda

Steve Dobda, a life-long resident of Stowe Township, passed peacefully on August 29, 2016 at the age of 92.  The son of Peter and Susan Dobda, he is survived by his loving wife Dorothy (Huszinko) of 61 years.  He was the devoted father of Cindy (David) Stoebe, Diane (Larry) Nadik, Stephen (Karyn) Dobda, and Michelle (Richard) Billy; treasured grandfather of Lauren (Michael) Ghilani, Amanda (Jeffrey) Clapper, and Emily Nadik; and great grandfather of Nora, Ava, and Nina.  He was an avid Pitt Panther, Pittsburgh Pirate, and Sto-Rox Viking fan.  He was employed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.  In addition to his wife and family, he is survived by his brother Michael Dobda and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother John Dobda.  Family and friends will be received at McDermott Funeral Home, 1225  Chartiers Ave, McKees Rocks, PA on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.  Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at Hebron Presbyterian Church, 1767 Lincoln Highway, Clinton, PA.
