Shirley A. Walsh

Shirley A. (Beighley) Walsh, age 87, of Bridgeville, formerly of Stowe Township, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 6, 2023.  Beloved wife of 49 years to the late Michael J. Walsh.  Loving mother of Cheryl (Michael) Manzella, Kathleen (Joseph) Mosberger, David (Diane) Walsh, Eileen (Chuck) Prosser, and the late Lynne (surviving spouse Steve) McGregor;  cherished grandmother of Michael Rumpf, Raelene (Joe) Kellems, Marissa (Michael) Walsh, Brian Manzella, Kristen (fiance’ Dylan Brazell) Walsh, Joseph Manzella, Rebecca (Kyle) Wakeen, and Jason (Megan) Walsh; great-grandmother of Madison, Emma, Parker, Michaela, Julianna, and Mason;  daughter of the late Homer and Jean Beighley; sister of Marjorie (the late George) Mihalov and the late Roberta (the late Gerald) Ruttgers.  She was retired from Ohio Valley Hospital after 32 years of service.  Shirley enjoyed playing cards and going to the bingos and garage sales with her sisters.  She loved spending time with her family and will be dearly missed.  Relatives and friends received Tuesday 2-8 PM at McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, 334 Forest Grove Road, Coraopolis (Kennedy Township) PA 15108.  Funeral prayer Wednesday 9:30 AM at the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Archangel Gabriel Parish, St Malachy Church, 343 Forest Grove Road, Kennedy Township.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Shirley’s memory may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 333 E.
