Robert R. Sestokas

Robert R. Sestokas, age 87, of Stowe Township, peacefully on Sunday, March 5, 2023.  Beloved husband of Bridget Shane (Bender) Sestokas and the late Virginia (Populo) Sestokas.  Loving father of Darlene (the late Scott) Lenig and Jeffrey (Kathleen) Sestokas; grandfather of Scott, Timothy, Brendan, and Shannon; great-grandfather of Rowan and Julian; brother of David Sestokas, the late Nellie Tucker, Alberta Undercoffer, and Alice Betz.  Robert was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and loved traveling.  He was also the former owner of two Islay’s stores located in Carnegie and Lawrenceville.  Relatives and friends received Wednesday, March 8, 2023, from 6-8 PM at McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, 334 Forest Grove Road, Coraopolis (Kennedy Township).  Blessing Service Thursday 10 AM at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of donor’s choice.
