Richard H. Davis

Richard H. Davis, Jr., 83, of Stowe Twp., passed away after a brief illness on September 4, 2018. Born in 1935, he was the son of Richard H. and Ruth Davis. “Dick” was the beloved husband of June (Mitter), loving father of Glenn (Chris) and Richard (Kim). Grandchildren are Alyssa Tokorcheck (Matt), Glenn (Shauna Lushko), and Derrick (Christy Luther), and a great grandchild, Delanie. Surviving siblings are Jack (Jane) and Donna Legato (Tony) and step brother and sister, Paul Davis, his son, Dylan, and Becky Deramo (Tim) and her daughter Makenna. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Dick was a standing member of the Shriners. Dick was an avid trap and skeet shooter as a member of the Sewickley Heights Gun Club and Millvale Sportsman Club and won many competitions and awards. He worked in many departments at the Dravo Corporation on Neville Island and then founded a successful, family run marine surveying company in 1981. Hobbies were rebuilding cars such as corvettes and woodworking and remodeling. A jack of all trades and a master of all! He enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports as well as the Pittsburgh Pirates, Steelers, and Penguins each season. Per Dick’s request there will be no viewing.
