Raymond Kress

Age 45, of Kennedy Twp., on January 28, 2011, in Wisconsin. Beloved son of the late William Kress and the late Kathleen Loenard; brother of Christine Brogan, Jennifer Bobak (Ray), Bill Kress Jr. (Paige) and Dawn Doerr (Joe); nephew of the late Richard Kress, Robert Kress and William Grady; uncle of James Kress, Sarah Brogan, Alex, Christopher & Chloe Bobak. Ray grew up in the Allentown neighborhood of Pittsburgh and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1992, earning a degree in Chemical Engineering. Since then, he was employed by Bechtel. His work in design and construction at power generation facilities took him to locations in Brazil, China, Chile, Egypt, Mexico and various locations throughout the United States. Friends and family received 2-4 & 6-8 PM THURSDAY & FRIDAY at the McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC, 334 Forest Grove Road, Kennedy Twp., 412-771-4455. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Saturday in St. Malachy Church.
