Patrick John Sommers
Age 25, of McKees Rocks, PA, unexpectedly, on September 5, 2016. Patrick was born September 27, 1990. He was a graduate of Montour High School Class of 2010. He loved his job at Chartier's Country Club and took great pride in his work. We were blessed beyond measure to have shared more than 25 years with him. Patrick cherished his nephew, Albert and invested himself into Albert's character and development. Patrick personified love. He generously shared his love and his infectious smile with every life he touched. He adored his family and football and was happiest when he could enjoy both at the same time. Patrick's kindness was extraordinary and rare. The joy and light that he brought to this world will be dearly missed. Cherished son of Nicole Sommers; brother of Jeremy Michael Sommers; grandson of Carol Carlin; uncle of Albert John Sommers; nephew of Karlin Lamberto (Jesse Billimack); and great- nephew of Marilyn Delach; cousin of John (Janice) Wilson, Don Wilson, Owen Billimack, Eli Billimack and Keith Delach; nephew of the late Bonnie and John Wilson. His dedication to family, his loyalty to his friends, and his kind hearted nature are just a few of the things that I strive to pay forward. He was the best friend I've ever had and I'm so grateful that I was able to have him in my life for so many years, growing up. I'm thankful to have been lucky enough to spend so much time with him and learn from him. I will forever miss those times my old friend! Rest peacefully..

There are no words for your loss. Just pure empathy from one mother to another.

If Patrick taught me anything in life it was that everyone has a voice, and we are all creative in our own way. He could put words to paper and make music out of the thoughts that surrounded him. Of all of the words in the English language, all of them escape me since he has been gone. I know this world will never be the same. But he has left his legacy with us, the moments he shared and the people that he brought together, he will surely never be forgotten. I'll miss him always and think of him every day, and try to let his memory and wisdom inspire me to write something that he would be proud of. I always supported him and I knew he would be famous, and he surely is in my heart always.

Coco, Patrick was a sweet loving, courteous and sensitive young man. I am glad I had the pleasure to know him. He was one of a kind with his beautiful smile and charming personality.
A light truly went out in this world when he left it. I know words cannot erase the pain and agony that you, as his mother are enduring but maybe you can find some comfort in knowing he was loved by many and you raised a truly wonderful person. I loved him dearly and will truly miss him everyday.
