Patrick Gerard McDonnell

Age 88, of Robinson Twp., passed away on Feb. 23, 2016. He was born Nov 29, 1927 in Cleggan, Ireland and came to the U.S. at 19 years old. Patrick graduated from Central Catholic and Duquesne University and went on to work for P&LE Railroad. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patricia (Blumling) McDonnell, their children, Alanna (Robert) Reed, Rian (MaryEllen) McDonnell, Liane McDonnell, Jeffrey (Tatiana) McDonnell, and grandchildren, Jason Gagermeier, Justin McDonnell, Melissa Gagermeier, Adela McDonnell, and Augustus Smith. Family and friends will be received on FRIDAY from 3-8PM at McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 334 Forest Grove Rd., Kennedy Twp., where prayers will be offered SATURDAY at 12:00PM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 PM in Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
