Patricia M. Temple

   Patricia Magdelen (nee Haseleu) Temple, age 93, of Kennedy Township, passed peacefully on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at her home to be accepted into Heaven after a lengthy battle with cancer. 

   Patricia was born July 29, 1929 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she would live for the remainder of her life.  She met her late husband Chester “Ches” Temple in 1949 and they wed in 1950.  In between traveling with Ches, raising a family, hosting bible studies, and maintaining an active social life, Patricia worked as a secretary at the H.J. Heinz Company and then as a telephone operator and emergency room receptionist at Ohio Valley General Hospital.  Following her retirement Patricia continued to volunteer at the hospital and remained involved in the community.

    Patricia is survived by a large, loving family.  Her children Diane, Jeffrey (Darlene), Lillian (the late Charles) Moersch, and Brian (Christine); her grandchildren Bradley (Katy), Heather (Jonathan) Bungard, Daniel Moersch, Eric (Alex), Tyler (Lindsay), and Rachel Moersch; and her great-grandchildren Landon, Eleanor, Lydia, and Madison will all miss her deeply and dearly.

    Patricia is preceded in death by her husband Chester, her brother John “Jack” Haseleu, her sister Dolores Mollica (nee Haseleu), and her children Michael, Matthew, John, and Matty who all passed in childhood.  She will continue to have plentiful company in Heaven as she did on Earth.

    Patricia’s kindness, generosity, and hospitality were unmatched and impossible to replicate.  She’ll be remembered for her ability to always provide a kind word, a comforting hug, and an appropriately timed joke to anyone in need.  She lit up every room she occupied and always held the attention of those in attendance.  She was deeply loved and will be deeply missed.

    Relatives and friends received Tuesday, February 21, 2023, from  2 - 7 PM at McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, 334 Forest Grove Road, Coraopolis (Kennedy Township) PA 15108 where the Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 11 AM.
