Patricia "Patti" B. McDonnell

Patricia "Patti" B. McDonnell, age 91, of Robinson Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 15, 2024. Cherished wife of 61 years to the late Patrick G. McDonnell. Loving mother of Alanna (Robert) Reed, Jeff (Tatiana) McDonnell, and the late Rian (Maryellen) and Liane McDonnell. Cherished grandmother of Jason Gagermeier, Justin McDonnell, Melissa Gagermeier, Adela McDonnell, Augustus Smith, and Natalie Kendall; sister to the late Len (Joan) Blumling, Robert Blumling and Mary Alice (Charles) Posner. 

Patti was born on August 6, 1932 in McKees Rocks to the late Leander and Florence (Hutter) Blumling. She went on to graduate from Mount Mercy College in 1954 and later became a dietician at St. Joseph Hospital in Southside and Robinson Developmental Center. Patti loved spending time with  her family, but especially with her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling to see them, as well as going to Kennywood, Seaworld and Washington D.C. An avid traveler, Patti has been to Italy, Ireland, New York, Colorado, California, Cancun Mexico and Florida with her friend Carol.

Relatives and friends received Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 1-4 and 6-8 at McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, 334 Forest Grove Road, Coraopolis (Kennedy Twp.) 15108. Funeral prayer Friday, February 23 at 10:30 AM at the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM in Archangel Gabriel Parish, Holy Trinity Church, 5718 Steubenville Pike, Robinson Township, PA, 15136.
