Pat Batiste

Age 97, of Coraopolis passed away June 3, 2022. Pat was the loving husband to Gloria Batiste (Chini); Beloved father to Patricia Wagner (Bob), Michele Vidovich (John), and Sharon Hughes (Jeff); Grandfather to Leah House (Tyler), Derek Kwiatkowski (Bridget), Tyler Brown, and Ashley Brown (DJ); Great-grandfather to Austin House and Averi Brelloch. Pat was preceeded in death by his parents: Carmen and Maria Giambattista; Twin brother: Guido Batista; Sisters: Ernestine Patissi, Evelyn DeSalvo, and Rose Buttera.

Pat proudly served in the United States Marie Corps during WWII. He was employed at Shenango Steel as a Pattern Maker, where he also served as the union president. Pat also enjoyed carpentery, masonry, traveling, bowling, billiards, poker, golf, and was a member of the IBA.

Friends and family will be welcomed from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Monday, June 6, 2022 at McDermott Funeral Home, Inc. 334 Forest Grove Rd, Coraopolis, PA 15108. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 AM on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Archangel Gabriel Parish, St. Malachy Church.
