Norma was born July 2, 1935 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Leanore Francis (Jackson) and Wilbert Irwin.
She attended McKees Rocks High School and graduated in 1953.
Norma enjoyed reading, cooking for her family, playing Scrabble and other word games, and watching television.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, George, and her four children George (Diane), David (Marie), Barb, and Patty (Mark); her sister, Nancy, and nine grand children: Matthew, Sam, George, Tom, Casey, Trevor, Dean, Abby and Katie.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Richard "Butch".
Friends will be received from 9-11AM on SATURDAY at McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1225 Chartiers Ave., McKees Rocks, PA, where Funeral Services will be held at 11AM, committal will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
