Nancy Grace Calhoon

Age 85, of Robinson Twp., formerly of McKees Rocks, passed away on December 1, 2018. Born March 23, 1933 in McKees Rocks, she is the beloved wife of the late Robert Calhoon; daughter of the late Ambrose and Rose (Marrocino) Maggi; sister of Samuel Maggi, Anna Spezialetti, and the late Luke Maggi, Esther Bolea, and Florence Maggi; special friend of Evelyn Moses and the late Mary Lentz. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and her caring friends at Country Meadows.

Nancy started her nursing career in 1953 at Ohio Valley Hospital. She served as a nurse in the Army during the Korean War. After the Army, she returned as a counselor for the Ohio Valley School of Nursing. She was also employed by Montour School as a teacher’s aide for autistic children.

Family and friends received 2-4 & 6-8 PM TUESDAY at the McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 334 Forest Grove Rd., Kennedy Twp., where prayers will be offered at 9:30 AM WEDNESDAY, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Malachy Church at 10:00 AM.
