85, of Kennedy Twp., passed away peacefully on November 29, 2016, with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Mary Lou (Hoover), for over 60 years; loving father to Michael (Bridget), David (Andrea) and Robert (Kelley); cherished grandfather to Michael, Joseph, John, Trisha (Josh), Anthony, Marisa (Jake), Amanda, Niki (Todd), Jackie (Craig), Robby, Jr., and Danny; and great-grandfather to Roman, Mason, Nico, Chloe, Kaden, Jaxson, Mia and Katie.  Mike was retired from Duquesne Light Co. after 38 years, and served our country in the US Navy for 4 years.  He enjoyed golfing and bowling, having once bowled a 300 game. Family and friends may visit SUNDAY, 1-4 pm and MONDAY 6-8 pm at McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 334 Forest Grove Rd., Kennedy Twp., where prayers will be offered TUESDAY at 10 am, followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 10:30, at St. Malachy Church, followed by burial at The National Cemetery of The Alleghenies.
