Mary J. Lokey

On a sunny Sunday morning, Mary peacefully went to meet her maker. She lived a long and healthy life which began in Monaca, where she was born to Ralph and Caroline Sebastian in 1917. Mary met and married Stephen Lokey and lived in West Mayfield until their retirement. She was a mother to her two sons, a homemaker, sales clerk and finally a hairdresser, to name a few of the many hats she wore during her life least being grandmother and great-grandmother. Mary and Steve retired to Florida where she lived for 37 years, coming home at the age of 98 to be near family in her later years. Her last days were spent at West Hills Health and Rehab center, where she passed away with family at her side. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Steve, six brothers and one sister. Survived by her “kid” sister Rosie, son George (Donna), son Steve (Mona), four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Per Mary’s request, there is no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM FRIDAY, June 28, 2019 in St. Malachy Church, 343 Forest Grove Rd., Kennedy Twp, Coraopolis, PA 15108. Interment will be at a later date in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Beaver Falls.

The family would like to thank the staff at West Hills Health and Rehab center and The Willows, for their kind and loving care of our mother.
