Guestbook

Mom,
You were the most amazing women I can ever strive to become. From very young you always cared for others. You loved Dad deeply and set an example of love and devotion for your spouse that most people will never have the pleasure of seeing. You wanted a family and suffered loss to bring us into this world, then did your very best to again set an example that we are all proud of. When we were happy, you shared our joy. When we were down, you lifted us up, and reminded us "You can't do everything" even though you made it look easy. Your whole life was about taking care of others, so in these last few years of living independently, you enjoyed becoming your own person building new relationships and staying strong. It was beautiful to watch you transform from Mommy to Mary in your own place these last few years. Even there, as long as you could, you continued to bake and write cards and show love. And at the end of your days - you continued to comfort us, by letting us know you were ready and wanted to see Daddy. We your children can only hope to be as loving and giving and accepting of peoples good and bad as you were. I hope one day I can live up to your example. Until then - please hug Dad and continue to watch over us so that we can live and love one another as you did. Love Rosemarie (Not Rose since it was your wish for me to be Rosemarie)
