I was stunned to hear this. Margie was one of first and best friends that I met when we started at Pitt in 1970. We shared some classes and had some great conversations during our times at Pitt. After graduation and as we traveled differnet paths in life, I could always count on having great conversations with her over the phone. Her smile and jovial demeanor were always the highlight of being with and knowing Margie. I will forever remember you my dear friend.

Margie and I were cubicle neighbors at work in Welfare Intake.
It was Margie who ran over to hug me, when I got the phonecall from my Ma, that my Granny had passed away.
So many fun memories, as you get working right next to someone.
Heaven's choir got a new member.
Rest with God, Margie

Margie and I went to her house for lunch from St Malachy and her mom made sardine sandwiches with mustard and onions. I still eat them.
