Lawrence E. McGowan

Age 78, of Kennedy Twp., passed away peacefully at home on July 16, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Vincene (Desiderio) McGowan; loving father of the late Colleen (Douglas) Locher and survived by Deborah (Joseph) McGowan, Kellie (William) Kendall, and Erin (Kenneth) Dierker; devoted grandfather of Garrett, Brooke, Austin, Morgan, Delaney, and Hadley; brother of Bernadette Steinkamp, Jack McGowan, the late Mary Alice Daugherty, Robert McGowan, and Carol Ann McCay. Also survived by sister-in-law Theresa (Wayne) Balestra and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 2-8 pm TUESDAY at the McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC. 334 Forest Grove Rd., Kennedy Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 10 am WEDNESDAY in St. Malachy Church.
