Kathryn A. "Kitty" Knight

94, of Monroeville, PA. Beloved daughter of the late Catherine and Joseph Knight and sister of the late Margaret Henderson, Mary Carney and Elizabeth Gerson. Devoted and dearly loved aunt to many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Kitty was raised in McKees Rocks, leaving to work in Washington DC during WW 2. She then worked for many years in Pittsburgh as office manager of Local 590 Amalgamated Meat Cutters union. After retiring, she realized her dream to travel abroad, including trips to Ireland and Italy. Kitty also took classes at the Univ of Pittsburgh and was a volunteer tutor to college students. For over 40 years, she was a season ticket holder and avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan. Kitty was a member of St. Bernadette’s parish, Monroeville. Visitation: Tuesday, Jan 30 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at McDermott Funeral Home, 1225 Chartiers Ave, McKees Rocks, PA.  Funeral Mass: Wednesday, Jan 31 9:30 AM, St Mary’s Church/St John of God Parish, 1011 Church Ave, McKees Rocks, PA, Burial to follow at St Mary’s Cemetery.
