Kathleen A. Foster

Kathleen A.  “Kathy” (Mazurek) Foster, age 84, of McKees Rocks, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 29, 2023, with her family by her side.  Loving mother of Donna Foster, Doug (Michelle) Foster, and the late James Foster;  cherished grandmother of Jacob (Abbey), Nicklas, and Kemper Foster; great-grandmother of James Foster; sister of Frances (John) “Dolly” Woodcook, Earlene Brown-Bosket, the late Janice Barr, and Mary Agnes “Aggie” Vietmeier; former wife of Donald Foster; daughter of the late Mary “Barker” Brown; step-sister of Ronald (Fran) Mazurek; longtime companion of Fred Snyder; also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.  Kathy enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and organizing family events.  Kathy was a great homemaker and will be dearly missed by her family.  She was very instrumental in organizing Special Needs Events with her children, friends, and church.  Relatives and friends received Tuesday 2-7:30 PM at McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, 334 Forest Grove Road, Coraopolis (Kennedy Township) PA 15108 where Blessing Service will be held at 7:30 PM.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kathy’s Memory may be made to Holy Trinity Polish National Church, 200 Grace Street, McKees Rocks, PA 15136.
