Karen was a compassionate, caring, but most of all selfless person as she put everyone else before her. Family meant more than anything to her as she lived for her daughter and grandsons. Everyone who knew Karen knew her love of Elvis, A Christmas Story and Beverly Hills 90210. She spent many years as a devoted band parent to the Sto-Rox High School Viking Marching Band and was proud of her alma mater, Sto-Rox. Karen will always be remembered for her kind spirit, caring soul and her love for others. She will be sorely missed by all that knew her.

I am still in deep shock. My memories of Karen run deep. How she attended all of Tim's band festivals & band concerts, how she was so supportive of Christopher & Tim from day one & how she took them under her wing. My words cannot ever express how she impacted our lives for the better & how she was family to us. She actually come to the hospital when Tim was going through his surgeries, and how she really cared. We are going to miss you more than I can ever express. Your phone calls, your remembering of birthdays, etc. cannot ever be erased from our lives. The last time I talked to her was when your beloved Joe passed & how she was so sad that she was in hospital & we would catch up on everything when, she felt better. I can't believe this. Jennifer, Syd, Kevin & Andrew I can't express what your family means to us & how we all love you guys. Karen was one of a kind & this one really cuts deep. I know I'm rambling, I'm sorry, but just know that we are here for you 24/7/365. Love you, Ken,Christopher & Timothy Populo
