Karen M. Burkholder

Karen Marie Burkholder

Age 48, of McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, passed away on December 29th, 2020. Karen was preceded in death by her father, the late Joseph Burkholder on December 10th, 2020. Left to cherish her memory forever are her mother Jennifer, her daughter Sydney (Leon Fisher), her siblings Andrew, Kimberly (Chuck McMahon) and  Kevin (Laura Roller). Karen was a loving and caring aunt and grandmother to her nephews Charlie and Cooper McMahon, her niece Paige Emery and her grandsons Joseph and Aaron Fisher. Karen was loved and adored by many cousins and friends as well.

Karen was a compassionate, caring, but most of all selfless person as she put everyone else before her. Family meant more than anything to her as she lived for her daughter and grandsons. Everyone who knew Karen knew her love of Elvis, A Christmas Story and Beverly Hills 90210. She spent many years as a devoted band parent to the Sto-Rox High School Viking Marching Band and was proud of her alma mater, Sto-Rox. Karen will always be remembered for her kind spirit, caring soul and her love for others. She will be sorely missed by all that knew her.
