June Marie Andrews

June Marie Andrews, age 90, of Kennedy Township, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 5, 2023.  Beloved daughter of the late Ernest and Katherine (Green) Andrews; sister of the late Robert (Lesya) Andrews and William (Evelyn and Phyllis) Andrews; aunt of Jeffrey (Paulette) Andrews, Jill (Ron) Rak, Jamie (Mark) Chiarelli, Laurie (Lynn Colosi) Andrews, and Marcie (Dino DeAngelis) Hopper; great-aunt of Denny (Lynne) Hopper, Benjamin (Taisha) Chiarelli, Dena (Derrick) Baron, Bethany Rak, and the late Brandon "Nucci" Chiarelli; also survived by seven great-great-nephews and one great-great-niece.  Lifelong friend of Pat Adamski.  June retired after 30 years from US Steel in the Accounting Department.  She was past president and trip planner for Hilltop Senior Citizens.  June was an avid traveler and enjoyed the outdoors.  She was also an animal lover and had a great sense of humor.  June's family is forever grateful for the teams at Apple Blossom Memory Care and Enhabit Home Health & Hospice.   Relatives and friends received Monday 2-8 PM at McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, 334 Forest Grove Road, Coraopolis (Kennedy Township) PA 15108.  Funeral prayer Tuesday 9:15 AM at the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial in Archangel Gabriel Parish, Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 5718 Steubenville Pike, McKees Rocks, PA 15136.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in June's memory may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa FL 33607 or (www.shrinerschildren.org)
