John Roney

Age 57, of Robinson Twp., passed away on December 16, 2017. Devoted son of the late Buzzy and Mary Ellen Roney; beloved brother of Linda (Don) Bernard and Kathleen (David) Van Dusen; also survived by nieces and nephews. John was a retired ironworker from Pittsburgh Local #3. He was a lifelong Penguins fan and the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Mario Lemieux Foundation, Two Chatham Center, Suite 1661, 112 Washington Pl., Pittsburgh, PA 15219. Family and friends received 4:00 until the time of service at 7:45 PM THURSDAY at the McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 334 Forest Grove Rd., Kennedy Twp., the family suggests wearing Penguins attire or other black and gold items.
