James R. "Byer" Byerly

Age 66, of Elliott, passed away on December 14, 2018 with his family at his side. He is the beloved husband of Karen (Blumling); son of Irene (Zeybel) Nolder and the late James M. Byerly; loving father of Jeffrey (Stacey), Jonathan (Amanda), Amy Byerly (Matt Fannie), James F. “Jimmy”, Madison Byerly, and the late Briana Byerly; grandfather of Kassi Longstreth, Jeffrey, Patrick, Quinn, Reese, and Zachary Byerly; brother of Carol (Steve) Steenson, Dale Nolder Jr., Sam (Marianne) Nolder, Leslie (Joe) LeGrand, Diane (Todd) Manchester; son-in-law of Lillian and the late Francis “Hank” Blumling.

Jim was a longtime member of the U-Bets and the West End Pulaski Society. He was a retired general laborer for the City of Pittsburgh 5th Division.

Family will receive friends 2-4 & 6-8 PM MONDAY and TUESDAY at the McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1225 Chartiers Avenue, McKees Rocks, where a Blessing Service will be held WEDNESDAY at 10 AM.
