Irene Jayne Schlaegle

Age 92, of Robinson Township and West Park, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022 with her loving family by her side.  She was born January 2, 1930 to the late Clyde and Ida (Williams) Baker; beloved spouse to the late Raymond A. Schlaegle; sister to the late Albert and Ellwood Baker, wonderful and loving mother of the late Rae Lyn Kosarik (Joe), Judy Mills (Dennis), Heidi Raeder (Steve), and Russ Schlaegle (Karen).  Irene was devoted to her 14 grandchildren, Bonnie (Bittner) Lepro (Jim), Robert Bittner (Michele), JR Bittner (Eileen), Heather (Bittner) Fagan (Matt), Rae Lynn (Kosarik) Hoss (David), Jeanette (Pash) Dunhem (Stefan), Dianna (Pash) Helt (Josh), Stephanie (Raeder) Thompson (Matt), Doug Raeder (Carrie), Scott Raeder (Rachel), Natalie (Raeder) Prioletti (TJ), Ryan Schlaegle (Kim), Casey Schlaegle (Ali), and Ashley Schlaegle, and 31 great-granchildren.  Irene was a housewife who later worked for the Instrument Society of America.  She loved to sew, cook, and support her family.  She also loved to dance and sing with Ray.  She had a wonderful sense of humor and dearly loved spending time with her family and friends. Friends received Sunday, December 18, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 334 Forest Grove Road, Coraopolis, PA  15108.  Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Monday, December 19, 2022 will be held at Archangel Gabriel Parish (Holy Trinity R.C.
