Irene Wilcox Haas

Age 89, of Avalon,  passed on Thursday, December 10, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Robert D. Haas, loving mother of Robert S. (Jo-Ann), Douglas R. (Mimi), and the late Michael D. (Kathy) Haas. Grandmother to Christopher, Michael (Alissa) Haas, Tyler and Morgan Haas and great grandmother to Avery Haas. Step-grandmother to Toni-Ann, Frank and Michael and step great grandmother to Annie, Ben, Frank, Cypress-Ann and Skylar.

Irene retired from U.S. Steel in 1988 after 32 years of service. Irene was fondly referred to as ‘Mo’ by her family.   She loved to sew, play the Blazing 7s slot machines, watch sports and spend quality time with her grandchildren. 

Visitation will be private due to the Covid virus.
