Helen Prostko

Age 91, of Kennedy Twp., passed away peacefully on Monday, June 27, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones. Beloved wife of the late Thomas A. Prostko; loving mother of Thomas Prostko (Lee Ann) and Diane (the late Greg) Vaughan; cherished grandchildren, Tia, Alex (Darby), and Evan Prostko, and Melissa Vaughan; and one great-grandchild, Rachel.  Helen was a lifetime member of St. Malachy Church. She was a longtime resident of The Willows in Kennedy Township, a volunteer at Caring Heights Nursing Facility and an avid Pittsburgh Penguins fan.  Friends may visit THURSDAY, 4:00-7:00 p.m. at McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 334 Forest Grove Rd., Kennedy Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place FRIDAY 12 NOON at Archangel Gabriel Parish / St. Malachy Church.
