Harry E. POSTUFKA

Age 85, of Robinson Twp., passed away peacefully at his home with his family at his side on Saturday, April 14, 2018. He was born in Robinson Twp on April 9, 1933 to the late Caroline Postufka. He was a Korean War Veteran and worked for Dravo. He was one of the trio of brothers of Postufka Plastering. He was a Robinson Twp commissioner for 20 years and very active with the Robinson baseball and softball organizations. Harry was a lifelong member of Holy Trinity Church where he was a Eucharistic Minister. The highlight of his life was his two children and four grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Marlene (Kriger) Postufka, two children Cheryl (the late Harry) Quinn and James Postufka. Four grandchildren Holly (Adam) Nicastro, Heidi Quinn, Michael (Stephanie) Quinn, Aubree Postufka. Great Grandchild Vincent Nicastro. Also survived by brother William (Dorothy) Postufka and the late Walter (Eileen) Postufka. We would like to thank Dr. Christie Hilton his oncologist and his granddaughter/nurse Heidi.

Family will receive friends 1-4 & 6-8 PM MONDAY at McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 334 Forest Grove Rd., Kennedy Twp., where transfer prayers will be offered   11:00 AM TUESDAY, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church at 11:30 am.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Allegheny Health Network Cancer Institute for leukemia and lymphoma Society.
