George A. Yanosick, Jr.

Age 59, of Kennedy Twp., formerly of the South Side, passed away suddenly on Sept. 10, 2018. He was born April 5, 1959 to the late George and Dolores Yanosick. George is the beloved husband of Sharon (Heisel); loving father of Angelee, Alexander, and Nicholas; brother of Carol (Tom) Fallon, Dennis (Sharon) Yanosick, James (Kathy) Yanosick, Donna Benvenuto and Jane Yanosick; brother-in-law of Cynthia (Keith) Kelsch and Heather (Scott) O’Neill. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. George worked for over 30 years as an electrician with the IBEW Local #5. He enjoyed coaching softball and baseball. He also worked as a DJ for weddings and clubs for many years. George will be remembered for his jovial personality and kind heart. Family and friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 PM THURSDAY at the McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 334 Forest Grove Rd., Kennedy Twp., where prayers of transfer will be offered at 9:30 AM FRIDAY, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Malachy Church at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
