George Matthew "Matt" Paxinos

George Matthew Paxinos 

Age 54, of Kennedy Township, passed away suddenly on June 17th, 2021.

Matt was born in Pittsburgh, PA, to George and the late Judith Paxinos. He is survived by his spouse of 34 years, Tracy Lynn Paxinos (Antonelli), his son Stephen Mark Paxinos and his daughter Nicole Lynn Paxinos. He is also survived by his sister Karen Harman and his brother in law Edward Harman and his two nephews Sean and Scott (Charlotte) Harman and one great nephew Eddie Harman. Preceded in death by his brother Mark Paxinos. Also survived by his brother in law Craig (Lynda) Antonelli and uncle to David and Thomas Antonelli. 

Matt was a 1984 graduate of West Allegheny High School and a graduate of The Eastern Institute of Commercial Broadcasting. He worked at UPMC Corporate Services for 23 years as a Media Specialist.

Matt was a deeply loving and caring father, husband and friend to many. All who knew Matt benefitted from his generosity with his time, love, smile and natural tendency to put others before himself. 

Matt had many talents and loves including enjoying the beach, cooking, grilling, love for nature, gardening and most of all his family and friends. 

A memorial celebration of his life will be held at the Kennedy Twp location of McDermott’s Funeral Home, 334 Forest Grove Rd, Coraopolis, PA. 15108 on Saturday, June 19th, from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM  and 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 21st at 12:30pm at Archangel Gabriel Parish - St. Malachy Church.
