George W. Horner

Age 75, of Oakdale, passed at his home with family by his side on Wednesday, December 7, 2022. Beloved father of Carrie Horner (Tony DiIanni) and Andy Horner; Loving and devoted grandfather of Alyssa Harbaugh and Carley Harbaugh; dear brother of Joyce (Bill) Altieri and the late Rosemary (the late Tom) Deer; formerly married to and life long friend of Becky Horner; life long friend of James Girvin; also loved by many nieces and nephews; He will also be missed by his dog Scooter. Everyone who knew George had a best friend who they loved dearly.

Family will receive friends 2-4 & 6-8 PM MONDAY at McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 334 Forest Grove Road, Kennedy Twp., where Funeral Services will be held TUESDAY at 12:00 PM. Burial to follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with US Army Military Honors. Family will receive friends for the Wake at 3:00 PM at the Impact Christian Church, 330 Hookstown Road, Moon Twp., PA 15108.
