Mrs. Monks was a wonderful mother to her children and supportive of their teachers. She is a parent that I have remembered fondly. My condolences to you all.

To my beloved extended family, Bob, Lauren, Elizabeth and Rob... My heart is heavy for you right now, but always remember Eve (Mom) is only a thought or a smile away. I will always think of her when she saw me and said "Hey buddy, how you doing?" while giving me a hug. To this day I'm not sure why she liked me so much, I was always the influencer. I think she just new I enjoyed life, or maybe she was surprised to see I survived another day on this rock. I like to think I made her laugh, I know she said "Oh, Ron" a lot when we spoke. Her motherly generosity will always stick with me, offering to stay for dinner or provide advice . She will be missed. I thank God for the moments we had and I pray for peace for all of you.

God looked around his garden and saw an empty space. Then he looked down upon this earth and saw your tired face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful, he only takes the best.
