79, of Bulger, PA, formerly of Chartiers City, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015. He is survived by his brother, Alfred (Dorothy) Chmiel, sister, Virginia (Robert) Jeffery, and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Della Haney. Ernie served our military in the United States Army. He was a retired Pittsburgh firefighter, retiring as Captain. Ernie was an avid hunter and fisherman. Family and friends may call SUNDAY, 2-4 & 6-8 PM, at McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1225 Chartiers Ave., McKees Rocks, where a funeral service will be held MONDAY, 10 AM, at the funeral home.
