Eric passed away suddenly on February 2nd, 2019. The Son of Helen Daley, was raised in Coraopolis PA where he graduated from Cornell High School in 1998. Those who were lucky enough to know Eric will remember his loving, outgoing personality, and his innate ability to bring joy to everyone around him. He was a calming presence and the steady rock that many of us leaned upon in our own times of need, a true friend. While he found happiness with his coworkers, friends, and boxing at his local gym, the most profound joy of his life was found in his three children, Jackson, Riley & Ryan. Whether they were watching a Rocky movie for the 100th time, or enjoying a slice of Beto’s pizza after the Saint Patrick’s Parade, he was happiest when spending time with his children. Eric is survived by his children, his Mother, Helen, and too many friends to list. “May the road rise to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and the rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand.” In lieu of flowers, Eric’s family and friends ask that you make a donation to the Eric Daley Memorial Education Fund, https://bit.ly/2SeFsrp.
The keys wouldn't press themselves into words, and I feel at a loss for words. I feel that any words of sadness or remorse should be impossible to type regarding a man like Eric Daley. I only feel words of optimism when I think of Eric. That is all he would spread. So I say to you; spread the joy and the optimism, but also share your sadness, pain, disgust, and even hateful feelings in a controlled way so they are released. The sky is darkest before the dawn.
You are a part of everyone you meet or have met Eric, and we were better for it.

Dear family and loved ones of Eric Daley: Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. Losing someone with so much life to live can leave you brokenhearted. God knows your painful loss and promises to be "close to the brokenhearted. (Psalms 34:18) It has helped me and many others to know that the Bible promises that soon God will swallow up death forever (Isaiah 25:8) and that He will bring about a resurrection of our dear loved ones (John 5 : 28, 29) . May the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, comfort you during your time of sadness (2 Corinthians 1: 3).

Eric will be missed so much! Im a bartender at the Wexford Pub and Eric liked to come in occasionally and hang out - he loved the dark beers, stouts & porters. We are a small bar in Whole Foods and get to know all of our customers really well. Ive spent hours talking to Eric over the years about life, his kids, and his wrestling past. Everyone here is heartbroken over this. Eric was a kind and gentle soul. We are so incredibly sorry for his loss and will miss him greatly.

We were Detroiters transplanted in Steeler Country. You said Barry Sanders was your guy, and we told you how we used to see him at Chuck E. Cheese with his kids. A friendship was naturally born from that conversation. I will forever miss you and Mark talking in your Harry Caray voices and laughing until our sides hurt. You were loved by so many and our lives are forever changed by knowing you. No amount of tears and unanswered questions will ever be enough to fill the void left behind... My heart goes out to your family as they try to make their way through this. Know that he would never want his pain to be your burden. Live in his honor and let his memory be eternal... to Jackson, Riley and Ryan your daddy loved you the most. You were his greatest treasure and his love is everlasting. Just know that and feel him by your side every day of your life. He is there... Eric until we meet again, rest easy and may Perpetual light shine upon you.
