Elizabeth "Betty Jo" Walsh

Elizabeth "Betty Jo" (Hufnagel) Walsh,  age 94, on Sunday, December 24, 2023, God opened his arms and welcomed Elizabeth “Betty Jo” (Hufnagel) Walsh home.  Betty was the wife of the late Thomas “Poncho” Walsh.  Loving and adored  mom of Thomas Jr. (Janet), David (Susan), Phillip (Marcella), Kevin (Robin), and Gary (Lori) Walsh; proud and loving grandmother to Deanna (Mark), Thomas III (Heather), Ryan (Nicole), Amanda (Michael), Barry (Stacy), and Kevin Barry, Jr; great-grandmother of Shane, Reagan, Delaney, Kennedy, Leo, McKInley, Kaidence, Lillian, Fallon, Wyatt, Blake, Brody, and Livia; also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Betty Jo loved to cook, and no one left her house hungry.  She will be greatly missed.  Relatives and friends received Tuesday, January 2, 2024, from 2-8 PM at McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, 334 Forest Grove Road, Coraopolis (Kennedy Township), PA 15108.  Funeral prayer Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at 9AM at the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM in Archangel Gabriel Parish, St Malachy Church, 343 Forest Grove Road, Kennedy Township.  Interment to follow at The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
