Ed Zamanski, Jr.

Mr. Edward (Ed) Joseph Zamanski, Jr., 74, of Moon Township, passed away suddenly Friday, December 3, 2021, at home. He was born on September 22, 1947, in McKees Rocks, a son of the late Edward and Kathryn Ziemianski. Married to his beloved wife, Pat, for 45 years, Ed loved his family deeply and will forever be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Ed served his country during the Vietnam War. He worked for Allegheny County for 36 years. He enjoyed being a DJ for many years. To know him was to love him; he was always good for a joke, organized countless golf, bocce and Wallyball games and made everyone who crossed his path feel special.

He is survived by his wife, Pat (Kindle); brother, Thomas (Natalie) Zamanski, of Presto; four nieces, Kimberly (Thomas) Lane, Johnette (David) Kraft, Kara (Mickey) Droney, and Jeana (Cory) Dollear; and 10 great nieces and nephews. He leaves behind countless other loved ones including his four dogs.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Ed from 9 AM – 12 PM Saturday, December 11, 2021, at McDermott Funeral Home, 334 Forest Grove Rd., Coraopolis, PA 15108. A blessing service will be held at 12 PM following visitation. Please be prepared to adhere to all CDC guidelines, including wearing a mask.
