92, of Stowe Twp., passed away Sunday, June 5, 2016. He was the beloved husband of 59 years to Rose Lillian (Evans) Stemplewski; loving father to Bruce Edward and Paul Joseph (Dany); brother of Audrey Boyer; brother-in-law to Emma Evans. Edward was predeceased by a brother, Raymond; and sisters, Gertrude, and Pat. Edward made it known to Rose, every day of their lives, that she was the love of his life. He was known to all for his sense of family and for the way he showed love to those who knew him, in his own humble way. He made the world a better place. For 14 years, he and Rose volunteered with Meals on Wheels. Edward was a dedicated student of history and enjoyed nature. He was an avid collector of Snoopie and would often say that Snoopie was his hero. Family and friends may visit TUESDAY, 2-4 & 6-8 pm, at McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 334 Forest Grove Rd., Kennedy Twp. Services will be held WEDNESDAY at 10 am, at Ken Mawr United Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edward's name to Ken Mawr United Presbyterian Church, Kennedy Twp.
