Dorothy "Dolly"
Age 90, formerly of Stowe Twp., was born May 12, 1925 and passed on Monday, January 25, 2016.
She was the sister of the late John, Ken, Vivian and Marcella; beloved daughter of the late
John Rodgers and Anna Cineresk of Robinson who resided on a farm on Silver Lane in Robinson
Twp. Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Charles Alexander and raised two children, the
late Charles Alexander, Jr. and the late Carol Alexander. She is survived by numerous grandchildren
and great grandchildren. Dolly is an Honorary Life Member of the Communications Workers of America, (AFL-CIO)
for her leadership skills and work ethic while working for the early "Bell Telephone" of Pittsburgh.
Dorothy continually fought for her standing in the (at that time), male dominated industry.
Family and friends my visit 2-4 & 6-8 PM THURSDAY
at McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC.,
1225 Chartiers Ave, McKees Rocks, where prayers will be offered at 9:00 am on FRIDAY,
followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM, St. John of God Parish, the Church of St. Mary's.
