Doris was a forever, faithful friend of my mother, Jean Yanakos. She was dedicated to being with and providing comfort to my mother in her last days for which I will always be grateful. Her loyalty to my mother will never be forgotten nor go unrecognized. My mother and the angels are celebrating her homegoing.
As we cry there she goes, the angels ding here she comes God bless you , Doris.

Doris is, (I say is, because she is with our Lord and Savior) a dear special friend that I spent many an hour talking about our faith in the Lord, as we trodded through weeds and pruning at the Master Gardeners Demo and Trial Gardens in North Park. While I feel robbed of a dear and precious friendship, I know that she is rejoicing in heaven.

Saturday will also be my fathers celebration of life service at my church. He passed away on Nov. 9th. Perhaps Doris and my dad can meet and talk about their love for gardening. See you in a little while Doris. My prayers are with your family.
