Dolores Loretta Wanek

Age 90, of Kennedy Twp., formerly of Greentree, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard W. Wanek, Sr.; loving mother of Mary Mahaney, Richard (Deborah), Ronald, and the late Gary (surviving, Debra); devoted grandmother of Mark, Matthew (Kristin), Ryan, Sarah, and Abby Wanek; proud great-grandmother of two; sister of Anne Bane. She worked many years at the University of Pittsburgh bookstore as a bookkeeper.

Family will receive friends on WEDNESDAY from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 334 Forest Grove Rd., Kennedy Twp., where prayers of transfer will be offered on THURSDAY at 9:00 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John of God Parish, St. Mary's Church at 9:30 AM.

Burial to follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
