Cheryl Imperata

Cheryl Imperata, age 76, of Robinson Township, formerly of Shadyside and St. Clairsville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 25, 2023 at Good Samaritan Hospice Center in Wexford, PA.  She was born April 6, 1947 in Bellaire, Ohio to the late Lawrence and Mary Hartley.  She worked at the Neurology Department in Wheeling Clinic for over 20 years.  Cheryl was a wonderful cook who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who she loved dearly.  She was preceded in death by her husband Jim Imperata, a daughter Kimberly Imperata Pascek and her brothers Ken and Tim Hartley.  Cheryl is survived by her son Eric (Sherry) Imperata; brother Raymond (Debbie) Hartley; sister Andrea (John) Laroche; son-in-law Mark Pascek, and her grandchildren Gabriella, Sofia, Gianna Pascek, and Ava and Max Imperata.  As per Cheryl’s wishes there will be no service.  A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.  Donations in her memory may be made to Animal Friends, 526 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237 or (www.thinkoutsidethecage.org).
