Bryan Szallar

Age 49, of Crafton, formerly of Kennedy Twp., passed away suddenly on May 2, 2016. He was born August 29, 1966, to Alex and Frances (Trumka); loving brother of Gregory (Tawnda) and Shawn (Kathryn); dear uncle of Alec (Allison), Coleton, Bronson, Alex Frances, Mackenzie and Madison; nephew of Richard L. (Barbara) Trumka, Louise Burke and Beverly Szallar; cousin of Becky Griffith, Richard (Jessica) Trumka, Jr., Shelly DeGrave, Kevin Szallar, John King. Bryan had a great sense of humor and always made those around him happy, he loved being with people. He was a graduate of Montour and Penn State University where he majored in Finance, worked as manager/GM at Dick's, Banana Republic and GAP. Bryan was a master salesman and people person, gourmet cook with a flair for exciting presentation. He was always willing to help those around him. He was a friend's friend and at his best when he was helping his many friends. Family will receive friends on THURSDAY 6-8 p.m. and FRIDAY 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 334 Forest Grove Rd., Kennedy Twp., where Prayers will be held SATURDAY at 11:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 p.m. in St. Malachy Church.
