Barbara Sweitzer

Barbara Louise Sweitzer, age 67 of Moon Twp, PA passed away on June 2nd, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. Inspiring family and friends with her strength and spirit. Barb was born on March 20, 1951 in Pittsburgh, PA. The daughter of Alex and Betty Egley. She graduated from Edinboro University and dedicated herself to a career in social services. Barb is survived by her beloved husband of 35 years Harry, her son Michael Dandrea, Step-Children Jon Sweitzer, Amy McAlister and Andrew Sweitzer, her seven grandchildren, Brother Larry Egley and numerous other family and friends who loved her dearly. Barb is remembered for her love and devotion to family and friends, her kindness and fun-loving nature. But most of all she will be remembered for her glorious, contagious smile. This was her trademark, her brand, her smile will live on for those who love her.
