Arlene Kikel

Arlene Potocki Kikel, 82, of Kennedy Township, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 4th, 2022. She is survived by and was the beloved wife of Raymond J. Kikel. Together, through 62 wonderful years of marriage, they shared countless memories and a love of dancing, playing cards, ice-skating, bowling, swimming, camping at Pymatuning, travelling the country, laughter, and fun.

Born August 10th, 1939, in McKees Rocks, PA, she was the daughter of the late John Paul and Annie Potocki. She is survived by her sons - Brian and his wife Dusty (Williamson), Christopher and his wife Holly (Brown), and her daughter Kimberly and her husband, LTC Kevin Kropf. She is celebrated by seven grandchildren: Dylon, Zachary, Kayla, Luke, Andrew, Emmett, Olivia, and Henry. She is also survived by her sister, Joan Chvostal, Suzanne (Kikel) and John Stauffer, Joyce (Kikel) and John Kotler, John and Lee (Goldman) Kikel and  several nieces and nephews.

Arlene was a 1957 graduate of Rox High School and a member of the reunion committee. She was a long-time marketing assistant to the V.P. of Advertising for Electro Air in McKees Rocks and volunteered her time helping the Little Sisters of the Poor that were in residency at St. Malachy Parish. She was an avid reader and cherished the wonderful time she spent with family and her beloved grandchildren.

Arlene’s family sends a special thank you to all of those who cared for and assisted in her health care needs over the past several years.

Friends and Family will be received from 1:00-3:00 p.m. and 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 9th at the McDermott Funeral Home, Inc. at 334 Forest Grove Road, Coraopolis, PA. A mass of Catholic burial will be celebrated at St. Malachy Roman Catholic Church on Friday, June 10th at 10:00 a.m. Alright.
