on Thursday, September 29, 2016, age 26, of the South Side, formerly of Ingram, PA.  April was the beloved and cherished daughter of Jill (Michael "Nigel" Spudich) Yanke and Jim (Kim Bartley) Gollick; the best big sister to Emily and Abby Gollick; a devoted aunt to Myla Cancro; the much loved granddaughter of her Gaga, Audrey Yanke and the late Alfred Yanke, and Anna May and Frank Gollick; niece of Judy "DeeDee" and Mark Fritzges; and fiancee' of Jesse Bowden.  April was a graduate of Montour High School.  After graduation, April worked at Pat Catan's Art Center in McKees Rocks, then as a server for several years at Hanlon's Cafe' in downtown Pittsburgh until they closed.  She most recently was employed at Bella Christie and Lil'Z's Sweet Boutique in Lawrenceville, where she loved most recently working with the donuts.  April was a very talented artist, whether painting, coloring, decorating her apartment, or making cupcakes for her sisters, she always did it with her unique flair.  April loved working as a colorful waitress at Hanlon's and enjoyed her customers.  She was always a willing ear for them to unload their burdens.  To know and love April was really a blessing.  April had a heart of gold and would do anything for you.  During the past year she loved being an Aunt to Myla, the light of her life, whether buying her a mermaid outfit, or the cat print gold sneakers, she cherished her role of the crazy, funny, artistic aunt.  April loved Jesse, her fiancee' and looked forward to getting married.  He was the love of her life and it was complete with their little furry cat, Purzem.  Her perspective on life and her sense of humor always had her family and friends laughing.  She leaves behind a family and many, many friends who are broken hearted and at a loss as to why.  Family and friends may visit SUNDAY, 2-4 & 6-8 pm, at McDermott Funeral Home, Inc., 1225 Chartiers Ave., McKees Rocks, where a blessing service will be held MONDAY at 10:00 am.
