Annette F. Gerwell

Age 82, of Stowe Twp., passed on Thursday, December 1, 2022.  She was the daughter of the late Alexander and Ann Gerwell; Sister of Ralph (Connie) Gerwell, William (Elizabeth) Gerwell, Diane (Anthony) Dourlain and the late Patricia Gerwell, Martha Dolinich, Mary Alice (Gerwell) Gregorich, Alex J. Gerwell and Richard Gerwell (surviving Janet); also survived by many nieces and nephews and her extended family, The School Sisters of St. Frances/U.S. Province. Annette worked at the Pittsburgh Press and Post-Gazette for a total of 40 years, retiring in 2000. She asks that you perform a random act of kindness in her memory. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her, including her pets Jessie and Tootsie. Donations may be made to The School Sisters of St. Frances/U.S. Province retirement Fund. Arrangements will be privately held and entrusted to McDermott Funeral Home, Inc., Kennedy township.
