He was the beloved husband of 53 years to Lina (Famoso) Gieri; adoring father of Lisa (Tim) Davis; proud and doting grandfather of Emily and Domenic. Alfonso was the son of the late Maria and Joseph Gieri. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, Joseph (Gerry) Famoso and Aldo (Gerry) Famoso; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends may visit SUNDAY and MONDAY 2-4 & 6-8 PM, at McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 334 Forest Grove Road, Kennedy Twp., where prayers will be offered TUESDAY, 9:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 AM, at St. Malachy Church.
