Alex J. Gerwell

GERWELL ALEX J., JR. Age 86, of Stowe Twp., on March 9, 2015. He was the son of the late Alexander and Anna Gerwell; loving brother of Ralph (Connie), Annette Gerwell, Diane (Anthony) Dourlain, Patricia Gerwell, Martha Dolinich, the late Richard (surviving, Janet), and the late Mary Alice Gregorich; devoted uncle of Gina Gerwell, Kieth Gregorich, and many other nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Alex loved to pray every day for everyone, sing and draw. He loved animals and will be sadly missed by his pets, Jessie and Tootsie. He will be missed by all who knew him and his sense of humor, always trying to make people laugh. Arrangements will be private, immediate family only and are entrusted to McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., McKees Rocks.
